On this day in 1834, Maria, wife of John I. Groesbeck died,
age 35 years, 6 months, 11 days of typhus fever.
Also on this day in 1821, Frances, daughter of Rensselaer
& Elizabeth Nicoll and wife of John VanRensselaer, died at age 71 years and
1 month. Frances was born in 1750 and
would have been in her 20s during the American Revolution.
