On this day in 1797, laying out a road near Teunis
Slingerland’s from the bridge over Fontine Kill westerly. The Road Records book
continues on April 29, 1797: from old and new road above mentioned to Van
Zandt’s Mills.
Also on this day in 1848, Michael Edgar Niver was baptized
at the First Reformed Church of Bethlehem.
